Do I have to register to order from DARK HORIZON RECORDS?

- DARK HORIZON RECORDS offers thousands of CDs to choose from, including a vast selection of vinyl, apparel, magazines, DVDs, etc.
- You don't have to register to browse the catalog, but you will need to create an account for your first order from our webstore. After that you can re-order by simply logging in with your username and password.
- Your account is yours forever you can use this to track order status, update profile and contact us with questions or comments.
*Note: You do not need to register if you are using an offline form of payment (Checks, Money Orders, Cash *Cash is not recommended)
PAYPAL CUSTOMERS: IF YOU SUBMIT AN ORDER WITHOUT FIRST CREATING AN ACCOUNT, YOU WILL NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE STATUS OF YOUR ORDER AS THIS FORCES OUR SYSTEM TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT FOR IT.
Regardless of this, if you forget to create an account, you should still receive all confirmation emails of the order having been received, and then fulfilled and billed for shipment when it is processed.

Money Orders / Cashier Checks / Cash / Credit Card / PayPal Orders will be processed and shipped immediately upon receiving payment!
Payment using personal checks can be delayed!

All cash should be well hidden! We cannot accept responsibility for lost or stolen money.
All personal checks or money orders should be made payable to DARK HORIZON RECORDS.
All personal checks can / may be held for up to 10 days or until check clears prior to shipment of package.
You will be charged $20.00 for all bounced checks!

I just placed an order, what happens next?
Once your order has been submitted, you will receive two emails:
- The first is the initial confirmation that your order has been received.
(If we encounter a problem with your order you will be contacted immediately)
- Second, you will receive a Shipping fulfillment email showing that the in-stock items have been billed processed and shipped.

How long will it take to get my order?
- Orders are generally shipped within 72 hours (3 business days) after they have been billed, however some exceptions do occur.
-You can also check the status of your order by logging in to our site and selecting 'My Account'.

*Note: Even though your items should arrive sooner please allow up to 3 weeks for delivery before inquiring about any possible missing shipments. Once the order is shipped transit times may vary, depending on several factors out of our hands. REMEMBERonce a package is in the hands of the US Post Office, we are at their mercy. So please allow 1 - 3 weeks for delivery!
Please inform us if you have a NEW / CHANGED ADDRESS!!! This is very important when expecting a package to arrive in a timely fashion!

Why is my CD not factory sealed?
If you have received an item that is not factory sealed, you most likely ordered an imported titled or a title from a small or independent vendor. Regardless, the CD is brand new and never played. The more obscure the band is, the more likely the packaging will have been assembled by hand or shipped to us without shrink wrap.

Do you have a return policy? What about defective product?
- We want all our customers to be happy with their purchases. However, please note that we are not responsible for orders that arrive to you damaged by the shipping courier. We will never ship you a damaged item; any damaged or missing packages should be reported to your local Postmaster (or appropriate courier). If you receive an item other than what you ordered or an item with a manufacturing defect, simply contact us through the customer service email: darkhorizon666@hotmail.com. All returns for defective items will get a new copy of the same item in return unless stock limitations force us to send an alternative. This is why you should always list alternative selections in our NOTES section of the order form/shopping cart order page.
